Cable coaxial ShiverPeaks BS81900-8 100 m blanco cobre

The ShiverPeaks BS81900-8 100m White Copper coaxial cable is designed for reliable transmission of audio and video signals over medium to long runs. The cable combines a copper conductor with a protective white outer jacket to offer consistent electrical performance and a discreet appearance for indoor installations. It is intended for fixed installations where signal integrity and ease of routing are important.

Advantages

This coaxial cable provides low attenuation thanks to its copper conductor and controlled impedance, which helps maintain signal quality for television, CCTV, and other AV applications. The white outer sheath simplifies concealment behind walls, skirting boards or inside conduit and resists everyday mechanical wear in typical indoor environments. Its 100 m reel length reduces the need for joins and connectors on longer runs, improving overall system reliability.

Suitable for

• Television signal distribution in residential or commercial premises
• CCTV and video surveillance cabling for cameras and recorders
• Audio and broadcast connections in installation projects
• Fixed indoor wiring inside conduit, trunking or wall channels

Key specifications

• Length: 100 m
• Conductor material: copper
• Outer jacket color: white
• Cable type: coaxial
• Intended use: indoor fixed installations

How to use

Plan the routing path before installation to minimize bends and avoid proximity to high-voltage power lines that may introduce interference. Cut the cable to the required length and strip the outer jacket and dielectric carefully to expose the conductor and shielding without nicking the copper. Use appropriate coaxial connectors and compression tools to ensure a secure, low-loss connection. When running the cable along walls or through conduit, secure it at regular intervals to prevent sagging and mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For best signal performance, avoid sharp bends (maintain the cable's minimum bend radius), keep runs as short as practical, and terminate both ends with properly matched connectors. Store unused cable on its reel in a dry environment away from direct sunlight.
