Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 10m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 10m HDMI cable provides a reliable wired connection between HDMI-equipped devices. It uses standard HDMI Type A connectors with gold plating to maintain consistent contact and reduce corrosion. Rated for a data transfer bandwidth of 8.16 Gbit/s, the white 10-metre cable supports high-quality audio and video signals across extended distances, making it suitable for home entertainment and basic professional display setups.

Advantages

The cable offers durable metal-plated HDMI Type A connectors that help ensure stable signal transfer and resist wear. Its 10 m length enables flexible placement of TVs, projectors, set-top boxes and gaming consoles without signal loss typical for short, poor-quality cables. The 8.16 Gbit/s bandwidth supports uncompressed digital audio and high-definition video formats up to the cable’s capability, while the neutral white exterior integrates unobtrusively into most interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDTVs, monitors and projectors to media players or set-top boxes
• Linking gaming consoles to displays in living rooms or dedicated gaming areas
• Extending HDMI runs in small home theatre and conference room setups
• Temporary AV installations for presentations or events

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A (standard)
• Data transfer rate: 8.16 Gbit/s
• Connector finish: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: White

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off or in standby before connecting. Insert one HDMI Type A connector fully into the HDMI port of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, console or set-top box) and the other end into the HDMI input of the display device. After secure connection, power the devices on and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. If you experience no signal, check that connectors are fully seated and try a different HDMI input or cable orientation.

Recommendations

For best results avoid tight bends near the connectors and do not place heavy objects on the cable. Run the cable away from large power sources or mains wiring to reduce potential interference. If longer distances or advanced features (such as 4K@60Hz with HDR or Ethernet over HDMI) are required, consider a cable specified for higher bandwidths or an active/extender solution.
