Outdoor installations and industrial networks demand enclosures that shield active equipment from dust, moisture, and unauthorized access. The EFB Elektronik 691707IP55.2G is a 19-inch wall-mount cabinet engineered for exactly these environments. With an IP55 rating, powder-coated steel body, and a lockable glass door, it keeps switches, patch panels, and servers safe in parking areas, production halls, or building exteriors. Its 7U internal capacity and 600 mm depth accommodate standard 19" components, while the 100 kg load rating supports even dense configurations.

Why choose it

This cabinet combines rugged protection with flexible installation. The IP55 seal blocks dust and low-pressure water jets, while the steel construction withstands impacts and corrosion. The glass door allows visual monitoring without opening the enclosure, and the 3-point lock deters tampering. Adjustable mounting rails and a removable rear panel simplify equipment installation and cable management. For outdoor or harsh indoor use, it delivers reliability without compromising accessibility.

Ideal use cases

• Outdoor Wi-Fi access points and surveillance systems
• Factory floor network distribution points
• Building automation and IoT gateways in exposed locations
• Parking garage or warehouse network cabinets
• Small server rooms with dust or moisture concerns

Good to know

The cabinet is delivered fully assembled and ready for wall mounting. A plinth for floor-standing installation is available separately. Passive ventilation is standard, but the cabinet is prepared for an optional fan unit to handle higher heat loads. The RAL 7035 light grey finish blends into most industrial and commercial settings. With a 100 kg load capacity, it supports multiple switches, UPS units, and patch panels simultaneously.
