Fuente de alimentación fractal design FDE Ion 3 GOLD 1000W 80+ GOLD blanca — 1000 W, eficiencia 80+ Gold, ATX

The fractal design FDE Ion 3 GOLD 1000W 80+ GOLD White is a 1000 W ATX power supply engineered for high-performance desktops and workstations. It delivers 1000 watts of continuous power with 80+ Gold efficiency, full modular cabling to simplify installation and cable management, and design elements aimed at quiet, reliable operation under varying loads. The unit supplies stable voltages across primary rails to support demanding CPUs, multiple GPUs, and high-core-count systems while minimizing waste heat and power draw.

Advantages

The PSU combines high efficiency certification with a high continuous power rating to reduce energy losses and improve thermal behaviour in confined cases. Fully modular connectors allow custom cable layouts and cleaner airflow routing. The white exterior and neat cable options support clean visual builds. Integrated protections and regulated output reduce the risk of component damage and ensure consistent system performance during sustained loads.

Suitable for

• Gaming PCs with single or multiple graphics cards
• Content creation workstations with high-core-count CPUs
• Systems requiring stable continuous power for rendering or simulation
• Custom builds where modular cabling and case airflow are priorities

Key specifications

• Form factor: ATX
• Rated continuous output: 1000 W
• Efficiency certification: 80+ Gold
• Cabling: Fully modular cable system
• Cooling: Low-noise fan with variable speed control
• Protections: Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protection

How to use

Install the power supply into a compatible ATX case following the case manufacturer’s mounting points and orientation guidance. Connect the 24-pin motherboard cable, CPU power cable(s), and required PCIe power connectors to your components, using only the modular cables provided. Route cables to avoid obstructing airflow and secure them with ties or straps. Verify all connections before powering the system. After initial power-up, monitor system voltages and temperatures to confirm stable operation.

Recommendations

Use this unit with systems whose sustained power draw does not exceed the PSU’s rated output, and select appropriate PCIe cable configurations for multi‑GPU setups. Ensure adequate case ventilation and periodic dust cleaning to maintain cooling efficiency and prolong component life.
