Hama 00205062 Cable coaxial 3 m F Blanco

The Hama 00205062 coaxial cable, 3 m with F connector, is a white transmission cable designed for use with satellite and terrestrial TV equipment. It provides a single, shielded conductor path for RF signals between devices such as satellite dishes, TV tuners, set-top boxes and signal amplifiers. The cable's 3-meter length offers a balance between reach and minimal signal attenuation for typical in-home installations.

Advantages

This coaxial cable combines a standard F connector with a flexible 3 m jacket to simplify connections in living rooms and media cabinets. The single-shielded design reduces external electromagnetic interference compared to unshielded leads, and the white outer sheath allows for discreet routing along walls and skirting boards. The cable is compatible with common satellite and antenna equipment that use F-type terminations, enabling straightforward plug-and-play installation without specialized tools.

Suitable for

• Connecting satellite dishes to receivers or multiswitches
• Linking terrestrial TV antennas to tuners and set-top boxes
• Extending existing coaxial runs between wall outlets and appliances
• Connecting signal amplifiers and distribution equipment in domestic setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connector type: F connector (male/female compatible for standard F-terminated devices)
• Outer colour: White
• Cable type: Coaxial for RF signal transmission

How to use

Route the coaxial cable between the source device and the receiving device, ensuring connectors are fully seated in F-type sockets. Avoid tight bends or sharp kinks in the cable that could impair the inner conductor or shielding. For wall-mounted devices, secure the cable with clips or adhesive routing solutions to prevent strain at the connector ends. If a longer run is required, connect multiple coaxial cables using a quality F-type coupler and check signal levels after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, keep the cable run as short as practical and avoid running parallel to power cables or other sources of interference. Inspect connector ends for corrosion or damage before connecting, and use properly tightened F connectors to maintain a reliable RF connection.
