The DIGITUS Unique Series freestanding rack DN-19 22U-6/6-B-1 is a 22U network cabinet with 600 x 600 mm footprint, designed and developed in Germany for demanding IT infrastructure environments. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm sheet steel with electrostatic powder coating (jet black RAL 9005), the cabinet provides an IP20 protection rating and a maximum load capacity suitable for standard network equipment. The design includes removable side panels and doors with reversible hinges for improved accessibility and a special roof section for easy fan module installation.

Advantages

The cabinet features a lockable front door with a pivot lever prepared for a profile half cylinder (adapter included), sliding cable entry with rubber sealing at the base, and roof and floor inlets equipped with brushes on models starting from 26U and with 800 mm width. Two pairs of galvanized 483 mm (19") profile rails with RU markings readable in both directions are installed inside; their depth is adjustable and reinforced with additional depth bars. The removable offset cover with ventilation slits improves air circulation and simplifies fan mounting.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level floor and assemble side panels and doors as needed. Mount 19" equipment on the supplied profile rails, adjusting their depth and securing additional depth bars if required. Use the sliding cable entry at the base and roof/floor inlets with brush seals to route cables while maintaining protection. Install fan modules in the roof area using the removable lid designed for easy mounting and ensure the front door lock is fitted with the profile half cylinder if security is needed.

Recommendations

For reliable ventilation and cable management, leave sufficient clearance around the cabinet, use brush-protected inlets for cable passes, and follow manufacturer load limits when installing heavy equipment. Consider models with 800 mm width for more extensive cabling or when using vertical cable channels.
