Switch gestionado PLANET GS-2210-16P2S 16 puertos 10/100/1000T PoE 240W

The PLANET GS-2210-16P2S is a managed Layer-2 Ethernet switch with 16 Gigabit 10/100/1000BASE-T ports that provide 802.3at PoE+ with a total power budget of 240 W, and two Gigabit SFP slots for fiber uplinks. Designed for small and medium enterprises and industrial deployments, the switch combines PoE management, VLAN, QoS and link aggregation features with PLANET’s network management systems (UNI-NMS and NMSViewerPro) to simplify remote monitoring and centralized control of large networks.

Advantages

The GS-2210-16P2S offers centralized remote management via UNI-NMS and local NMSViewerPro, extensive PoE controls (PD alive check, PoE schedule, priority, power limit and usage monitoring), and Layer-2 functions such as 802.1Q VLAN, IGMP snooping, port aggregation and bandwidth control. Two SFP slots support long-distance fiber links for flexible uplink and extension. The switch’s 240 W PoE budget and Gigabit ports make it suitable for powering IP cameras, access points and VoIP devices while maintaining predictable network performance.

Suitable for

• IP surveillance systems and ONVIF camera deployments
• Wireless access point backhaul and campus/branch networks
• VoIP telephony and business office networks
• Remote-managed installations using UNI-NMS / NMSViewerPro

How to use

Install the switch in a rack or on a flat surface and connect network devices to the Gigabit RJ-45 ports and fiber uplink modules to the SFP slots as required. Use the web management interface or the local NMSViewerPro app for initial configuration: set VLANs, QoS, link aggregation and PoE settings. For centralized monitoring, add the device to PLANET UNI-NMS by scanning the NMS agent QR code or registering the switch in the UNI-NMS/NMSViewerPro platform to enable remote management and real-time alerts.

Recommendations

Enable PoE schedule to disable power to nonessential PDs during off-hours, activate PD alive check to automatically reset unresponsive devices, and monitor PoE usage via the web interface to avoid exceeding the 240 W budget. For long-distance uplinks, choose appropriate SFP transceivers (multi-mode or single-mode) according to required distance and install firmware updates from PLANET to maintain security and compatibility.
