The EFB Elektronik 691653GR.80 rack shelf is a sturdy steel accessory designed for standard 19" racks. With a grey finish and dimensions of 482.6 mm width and 500 mm depth, the shelf provides a stable platform for mounting and organizing a variety of devices and components. Supplied as a single unit, it is suitable for use in server rooms, network cabinets and equipment enclosures where a reliable, non-rackmountable support surface is required.

Advantages

The shelf is constructed from steel to offer durability and load-bearing capacity while maintaining a compact form factor that fits into standard 19" rack systems. The grey surface finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with typical rack interiors. Its 482.6 mm width matches the internal mounting dimensions of 19" racks and the 500 mm depth accommodates larger devices and cables without projecting beyond the cabinet footprint.

Suitable for

• Supporting non-rackmountable equipment such as small UPS units, routers, and external hard drives
• Organizing cable accessories, power strips and monitoring devices inside 19" cabinets
• Providing a stable surface for test equipment and temporary installations within server rooms

• Finish: Grey painted surface for corrosion resistance and uniform appearance
• Width: 482.6 mm to fit standard 19" rack mounting spacing
• Depth: 500 mm providing ample support for a range of equipment depths

How to use

Install the shelf into a standard 19" rack by aligning the mounting holes with the rack uprights and securing it with appropriate fasteners. Ensure the shelf is mounted at the desired height and that fasteners are tightened evenly to maintain stability. Place devices and accessories centrally on the shelf to distribute weight evenly and avoid overloading the shelf beyond the rack or cabinet’s rated capacity.

Recommendations

Verify rack depth and available clearance before installation. Use suitable rack screws and washers compatible with your cabinet’s mounting rails. For heavy equipment, consider using additional support or selecting a deeper or reinforced shelf to ensure safe operation.
