Embellecedor de soporte de unidad Dell DXD9H 2,5" — compatible con CloudEdge R730XD/R630, peso 60 g

Dell DXD9H 2.5" drive bay carrier panel is a replacement drive carrier designed for compatible server chassis such as CloudEdge R730XD SANDSTORM and CloudEdge R630. The component provides a stable mounting interface for 2.5" SATA or SAS form-factor drives, allowing secure installation and straightforward removal during rack maintenance. The carrier is compact and lightweight (approximately 60 g), intended for use in data-center and enterprise server environments where modular drive trays are required.

Advantages

The carrier panel offers a precise fit for supported drive bays, ensuring correct alignment and connector engagement without modification. Manufactured to meet common server hardware tolerances, it supports repeated drive swaps and routine servicing. Its compact design reduces obstruction within dense storage arrays and helps maintain airflow inside the chassis. The lightweight construction simplifies handling during installation and decreases load on drive sled assemblies.

Suitable for

• Replacing a damaged or missing 2.5" drive carrier in CloudEdge R730XD SANDSTORM and CloudEdge R630 chassis
• Adding spare carriers for faster drive swaps in data-center operations
• Maintaining or repairing compatible Dell-based storage enclosures that accept 2.5" carriers

Key specifications

• Form factor: 2.5" drive carrier panel compatible with supported server bays
• Weight: approximately 60 grams
• Material: lightweight metal and/or reinforced plastics designed for server use
• Mounting: bay-specific alignment and retention features for secure drive installation
• Compatibility note: intended for CloudEdge R730XD SANDSTORM, CloudEdge R630 and select compatible server/storage models

How to use

Power down the server or follow hot-swap procedures specified by the server manufacturer before removing or inserting drives. Align the 2.5" drive with the carrier mounting points, secure the drive to the carrier using the appropriate screws or retention clips, then slide the assembled carrier into the designated bay until it engages with the backplane connector and retention latch. Verify proper seating and retention before restoring power or resuming normal operation.

Recommendations

Use compatible drive connectors and follow the server vendor's maintenance guidelines. Keep spare carriers labeled and organized to reduce downtime during drive replacement, and avoid excessive force when engaging the carrier to prevent damage to bay connectors and backplane contacts.
