The DIGITUS Unique Series freestanding rack DN-19 22U-6/8-B-1 is a 22U network cabinet designed for demanding IT infrastructure environments. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm sheet steel and finished with electrostatic powder coating in jet black (RAL 9005), the rack provides IP20 protection and supports a maximum load of 800 kg. It includes adjustable 483 mm (19") profile rails labeled in rack units, a special removable roof cover with ventilation slits for fan module mounting, sliding cable entry with rubber sealing at the base and brush-equipped inlets in roof and floor for flexible cable routing.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and fix it if required by site conditions. Install equipment by adjusting the 19" profile rails to the correct depth and mounting devices using standard rack screws. Route cables through the brush-equipped roof and floor inlets or the sliding cable entry at the base, and use the vertical cable channels and brush management panels to organize cabling. If a fan module is needed, remove the offset roof cover and mount the fan unit in the dedicated roof area.

Recommendations

Use appropriate earthing and secure heavy equipment at lower rack units to maintain stability. Ensure ventilation clearances and, for optimal airflow, install fans in the roof opening provided. Regularly check locks and seals to maintain IP20-level protection against solid objects.
